About Cole
A modern artist
with an old soul.
Cole Winters is the stage name of singer-songwriter Danny Patterson — a son of Rome, Georgia, and a veteran of nearly three decades of service in the United States military.
The stage name exists for a simple reason: after a lifetime of service, privacy matters. But the songs? The songs keep everything else honest. They tell stories from a life lived all the way through — service and sacrifice, family and regret, hope and faith, heartbreak and home.
That’s the whole philosophy: country music is at its best when it tells the truth. No gloss, no gimmicks — just a voice, a guitar, and stories you might recognize from your own life.
As a writer, Cole is registered with BMI in Nashville, and his songs are published through his own company, Cole Winters Music, LLC — protecting and promoting a catalog built one honest song at a time.
